ONITSHA ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW WEBSITE

The newly designed website offers visitors richer insight into the ancient town’s history, culture, governance structure, and how it is adapting to the rapid change of the twenty-first century.

Onitsha (July 20, 2019): Ime Obi Onitsha, the Onitsha Traditional Council announced today the launch of its newly designed website at https://www.imeobionitsha.org/. The website enables quick and easy access to essential information and features that facilitate a comprehensive understanding of Onitsha and includes a resource section which provides links to a wide variety of materials about the ancient town. Also built into the website is a community network: Onitsha Social Networking Platform. This is designed to enable indigenes of Onitsha (Ndi Onicha) interact in real-time, exchange information, share photos, enjoy music and socialise seamlessly.

The site features a streamlined, modern design, is user-friendly, and responsive to any device. Whether on desktop or mobile, the site will provide an elevated experience, which will make it possible for visitors to learn about Onitsha in a more natural way.
